I told you guys this movie was going to rule.  It is fucking AWESOME and is going to be a smash hit.  Pure popcorn cinema that is surprisingly emotional and thrilling from start to finish.  

 

Oh, and lol at Scott Mendelson.  He is such a wet turd and him not liking this is a massive shining endorsement.

I can't express how much praise I kept hearing seemingly every 60 seconds today after the screening. I chose not to watch it because I like seeing my own anticipated movies at home with family and friends... but of all the screenings CinemaCon has ever done that I've been present for, the post-screening hype for this is unsurpassed.

I'm gonna keep expectations in check. People at these conventions rave about anything. And most of the reactions are from the usual suspects. Combine with the fact they are the 40+ target audience, i'm not surprised they were enthralled.

I agree with this rationality, and I say that as someone whose father is looking forward to TGM more than any movie I can remember outside of Star Wars.

i remember the Ghostbusters Afterlife raves ,  i was shocked at the mediocre "real" reviews , but i expect solid reviews, but the Oscar talk , lol
