This reminds me that it is a make or break Olympics for Peacock. Tokyo signups didn't work out as well as they thought and the time difference will hurt for Beijing ad well. In addition to the organizers not being as accommodating to US demands on when an event should be held.

I don't think Trevorrow is an upgrade, but the movie itself is just more appealing. Dinos wrecking the mainland, sign me up, I don't care how they justify it.

The Jurassic franchise is just going the way of the Fast franchise. Turn off the brain and don't ask how or why.

This should dominate./

Then in 5 years, I want that more thriller-type of Dinos picking off Jurassic World construction workers while the containment crew works to capture the dinosaurs...

which 2022 movies do you see grossing more than this??

Obviously nothing.

Spoiler

Spoiler

Seriously, The Batman has a small chance imo, Avatar 2 will surely gross more. Thor 4 i dont see grossing more, Back Panther 2 is also a wildcard, but the legacy of the first one could carry it there. Aquaman 2 i also dont see grossing more.

I would say "Avatar 2" is a given. "Lightyear" most probably, since TS4 grossed 434 million $ in the US. The only other "threat" is "Black Panther 2" if it really gets supported by the fans of the first one, but I could also see it finishing with 300-350 million $.

"Avatar 2" is probably going to do 700-800 million $ domestically, and I put JW3 at 375-400 million $ as of now.
