Unfriended Dark Web showed at SXSW and is getting very good buzz so far.

Exciting news. Universal has listed Unfriended: Dark Web for release on July 20th!

 

(Though that's two weeks before Searching, a thriller in a similar internet format. Looks like we got a showdown coming!)

The director of the movie apparently posted the trailer on the actual Dark Web as part of a marketing gimmick

Unfriended 2 - Dark Web might be able to break this OW, and be BH Tilt's #1 ever, but it could also easily tank.  The budget should be slim though.

Saw the trailer for the first time last night with The First Purge.  Have to say the trailer is insanely good.  It genuinely gave me the creeps.  I think this could be a decent sized hit.
