A Quiet Place is still going to hit 50M IMO. I don't see it decreasing today.

Isle of Dogs is slowing down a lot. I don't know if it can manage a 2,500 PTA next week

50 is very likely as long as it stays flat (0-5% down from Fri)

19 + 19 + 12 (-37%) = 50 // This Sun hold will easily be beat

19 + 18 (-5%) + 13 (-28%) = 50 // Opening Sunday holds are usually better than subsequent ones for big openers due to spill from a saturated Sat and this hold is achievable too

A Quiet Place is having a stellar opening weekend. A stellar opening for a stellar movie. Unless I'm forgetting something it's the best horror movie that I've seen since IT.

RPO drop will be OKAY. The people who wanted it to bomb will not get their wish because the overseas numbers are too good. If it doesn't make a profit theatrically it will make one afterwards. It's not a flop no matter how much some wanted it to be. RPO ain't doing stellar numbers here in the states but at least it didn't flop overseas like the supremely overhyped A Wrinkle in Time.

Blockers opening is really good. It's not going to be that far above Game Night's opening weekend though. Doubt it has Game Night's legs but can't rule anything out completely.

Black Panther is still chugging along like the unstoppable juggernaut that it is. Should end with around 700mil one way or the other. I Can Only Imagine continues doing great numbers. Better this be the Christian movie success than that hate filled God's Not Dead tripe.

This is the end of Universal. Blumhouse should re-think their contract. Truth or Dare is gonna flop next week.

Just slap this logo on it

Doesn't look good for Rampage being sandwiched between AQP and IW.

Well, never doubt The Rock (unless he's in a movie that looks as outright bad as Baywatch did). Plus, there was another giant gorilla movie sandwiched between two big releases in March of last year, and look how that turned out.

Btw, Chappaquiddick is further demonstrating Entertainment Studios' pattern of hit/bomb.

Technically, Hostiles flopped too. 31.7M WW on a production budget of 39M isn't a hit imo. It was just cushioned by somewhat outdoing the low expectations pre-limited release (if I recall correctly).

It actually did better than I initially thought it would. Guess the aggressive TV ad push somewhat paid off.
