Never seen my audience so packed for a Thursday showing. Plus I can honestly say the reaction was great. Sure this could be due to more fans coming to a preview showing but I feel there were more casuals than I usually see at a Thursday preview showing.

That 45m sounds about right possible at least according to how things are going down in Sacramento:

(edited this after reflection and cross-checking TLJ's sellout report)

GREATER SACRAMENTO SELLOUT REPORT: PREMIERE NIGHT - FINAL REPORT

(sellouts for THIS REPORT ONLY includes ALL theaters with six or less seats left)

Wasn't doing seat count at the time.

TLJ beats it on total sellouts, but IW beats it on showings with the equivalent of the two front rows or less left.

Now, I DID check IW two hours later than I did TLJ, AND there are two new theaters in town contributing about 20 more showings for IW.  Still, as I said in the tracking thread, I wouldn't be that surprised to see IW in the area of TLJ.

FWIW, 1.6 x 25 = 40m on the nose.

So just now everyone thought they could walk into the Imax for the movie. Imagine the look on all our faces when they said no. We let out a collective "awwwww"

Like we were literally walking in.  One guy said "they can't stop all of us". One minute later "I guess they can stop all of us."

My daddy and I are going to see it Monday, I wonder if we should/should've fandango'd our tickets.

I'm not saying I endorse a 300M OW.

Need DepuTele to slap some sense into this boy.

Tele’s data strongly support Ethan’s “no hype” claim. So yeah, I definitely would listen to Tele for some senses.

I feel fairly confident predicting that come Monday DH2 won't be in the top 10 OW's.

The Dark Mark has just been sent, here come the Potter stans
