I disagree.

T2 is one of the best ever films in its genre. Cheesy Jim Cameron dialogue excepted, it is an excellent film. Just witness the scene where Sarah Conor tries to escape the asylum. That scene is pure tension and cinematic inventiveness. In fact the whole film is filled with one brilliant action scene after another.

In my view, Titanic and Avatar are two of Cameron's poorest films in terms of quality (visuals aside) Those two are the kinds of films that non-film-fans tend to like.

Somewhat disappointing Friday number for AIW.

Let's hope Saturday will kick butt once more.

I know it's all relative but to me, when a film is already at 370 million after ten days, nothing can really be disappointing in it.

Just to give idea of how insane TFA's run was...

Infinity War grossed $80.6 million for Monday-Thursday. This is 31.3% of the opening weekend gross. If it makes $120m this weekend and another 31.3% for the next group of weekdays, we would see the total at $496m through 14 days.

TFA was at $652m after 14 days. :o Considering it grossed almost $10m less than Infinity War in the first 3 days, that is just insane stuff from TFA over the next 11 days. And then there is the $90m third weekend to take it into an even crazier stratosphere at $742m after 17 days. :o
