Posted this in the domestic weekend thread, but many holdovers outside the Top 5 dropped from Monday instead of increasing on Discount Tuesday. Most likely because of losing screens to accommodate the opening of FFH.

It’s ok. It was bound for a drop this Tuesday, I suspected low $0.6m but Charlie was saying $0.65m. It’s very much still on track of beating Avatar. I wouldn’t doubt of an increase today, instead of decrease.

Just to give you all some perspective:

If Endgame had 2,025 theaters this Tuesday, the PTA is $289,22.

If MIB had 3,663 theaters this Tuesday, the PTA is $ $214,97.

 

Now if the theater drops happened this Tuesday, which BOM reports:

If Endgame had 1,985 theaters this Tuesday, the PTA is $295,05.

MIB hasn’t updated it’s theater count for July 2-3 yet.

 

My point is, regardless of the drop, the PTA still is excellent, what bodes well for the upcoming numbers and holding theater counts in the future.

Just got back from the best Spider-Man film of all time, and one of the best superhero films of all time as well. And this is coming from someone that absolutely loves Homecoming, Into the Spider-Verse and Raimi's Spider-Man 2.

Oh and just like I predicted, Charlie is seeing an increase for Avengers: Endgame today, he just reported 0.625m, let's hope it holds, that would be an AMAZING number.
