YM!
I’m really hoping this can pull a Shrek 2, mainly due to Netflix popularity
Cappoedameron
Spider-Verse 2 and Black Panther 2 in the span of a month, the excellence. How are the nexflix numbers for this movie. The oscar buzz definitely boosted it's video sales a lot. Edited November 1, 2019 by Cappoedameron
kitik
Glad this finally got a date. Wish it was sooner, but we all know animation can be slow. Especially the good stuff like this.
lorddemaxus
I'm gonna keep my expectations low honestly. Lord and Miller serving as just producers doesn't really give me much confidence that it will be anywhere as good or as memorable as the first film. I expect the fall in quality to be larger than The Lego Movie and The Lego Movie 2 (which I still really loved). Definitely has room to grow but I wouldn't expect outrageous numbers yet. Hopefully around the $500M range is good.

Krissykins
I know I’m in the minority on this one, but I found the first film so tedious. Hard pass
Cooper Legion
WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME WAIT SO LONG? Ahem, yes, I too hope for bigger box office results than the first one.
cannastop
I think this will make around $500m worldwide.

I can name a number of CBM which have suffered because they obviously were rushed into production .
