John Marston
50% drop for TS4 despite no competition? At least Incredibles 2 went up against the 148m opening Jurassic World 2. This is getting sad 2 2

ThomasNicole
Great drop for TS4 after yesterday meltdowns I hope it can get $ 60M, but i’ll be happy with $ 57-58M. Still on course for around $ 400M (unless FFH hit it hard, but i don’t think it will happen)
narniadis
Thursday was normal it looks like. TS4 in track for the kind of weekend that was talked about before the big Tuesday number came out. The worst bit for TS4 in weekend 2 is the fact that previews and that Sunday drop are not happening / guaranteed. Otherwise it again is behaving normally.
Alli
i don't think 60M is happening this weekend.
TwoMisfits
2 weeks ago, SLOP 2 dropped .2% Thursday vs Toys 4 5% drop... For Friday, SLOP 2 then rose 56% vs subpar more adult-oriented openers...probably exactly the situation Toys 4 faces going into this weekend:)... The Horror of Lucas Films
Annabelle Comes Home was GREAT. I wouldn't be surprised if it manages to have a leggy run despite a low OW, people are cautious after the combo of TN + La Llrona but ACH is everything a TCU fan could hope for this franchise, and it's already showing on audience score, where it has a 73%.
AlexMA
So here's something you don't see every day, Aladdin's Thursday is higher than its Monday. 5 1

a2k
179 after Thu and 56 weekend will give it 235 10-day. 2.5x the 2nd weekend more will give TS4 235 + 56*2.5 =
Michael Seng Wah
It's surprising to see Annabelle remains fresh on RT, climbing from the edge of rotten/ fresh to 67% now, audiences percentage is promising as well. While it will be decreasing WW, I think WB still make a handful profit off a 27m budget.

Sunday/Monday could be somewhat strong, relatively speaking, since Monday is Canada Day (a holiday) in Canada. Not guaranteed, but something to consider. Next week Disney will buy them Would that mean Kevin’s now in charge of DC Films and they can finally make the Wonder Woman and Captain America crossover we deserve?
