Screen Engine/ComScore PostTrak exits are fantastic with 4 1/2 stars last night for general audiences (who made up 68% of the crowd), 5 stars for parents and 4 1/2 stars for kids under 12 (combined 32% of the crowd). A great 76% definite recommend. Far From Home drew a crowd that was 63% male,s 37% female with under 25 dominating at 56%.

ps is that good ?

fuck, it's gone up by 3%! Damn, F is not happening. watch out for at least B score if not more (assuming Aster stans frontloaded the previews).

I thought the post I quoted was referring to the critical reception of the MCU.

General critical reception, but quite a few people don’t like mushroom pizza.  But there’s enough that recognize its brilliance that it’s more admirable than just another slice of cheese!

yes. the male/female ratio will even out in upcoming days cause men always rush to SH movies. so it's likely going to end with 58/42 or 56/44 which is standard for MCU.

In line with an A Cinemascore.

One of the best MCU movies. The action could’ve been improved (a lot) and there were several scenes with rough CGI (MCU movies always have a rushed production feel), but the story, comedy, and heart all landed for the most part, especially due to great performances by the two leads.

The more I think about the movie the more I like it. It’s no masterpiece but it’s perfect as a summer blockbuster.

The action was pretty garbage at times, and some characterizations were paper thin, but overall a 7/10 as an action-comedy, on par with Thor Ragnarok. 🍅

it is having good WOM. There is no doubt. One way to look at it is to compare with similar movies. Get reports for Cap Marvel, AM2, BP etc.

Worse than BP (and IW and Endgame). On par with Civil War but that was a weird situation with seemingly very positive WOM not matching with legs. Better than CM. A Cinemascore seems very likely. One thing is that all of the above movies had their ratings after previews whereas Spidey has had a full OD already, doesn't change the conclusion much though.

I think that CW had a great WOM among fans but not among casual viewers.  FFH is more casual viewer-friendly than CW.

I don't think A or A+ matter.

Edit: lemme rephrase. I don't think CS matter for fan driven films unless its terrible B or C. Asking about film from fans on opening night, is not really a good idea.

Civil War didn't have better WOM than CM. The legs are pretty evident of this. It probably has the most middling WOM of any MCU movie since 2016.
