I know there's rumors about this floating around but do we think Hemsworth will really come back for Thor 5? It kind of sounds like his involvement here even was predicated on Waititi coming back and with Taika's schedule being booked for the next decade, I don't see that happening for a while if ever.

Taika stopped Akira just to do Thor 4. I can see the same happening with Thor 5.

 

But the Marvel slate is already packed, so the next Thor will not be a fast track, sadly.

I imagine Thor 5 with hems and taika is likely but yeah, no reason to expect it before like 2026 2027 or whatever.

I mean given the curse of anime live action projects and the fact that this thing has been in development hell for ages, I'm not surprised he dropped Akira. But like now he has the Star Wars movie and is working on The Incal, both of which are space movies, plus whatever TV projects he has... at a certain point he's going to get bored of this I would assume lol

I can’t find anything on Nov 23 being 20th, was that a recent announcement somewhere? Anyway MCU+20th should be Deadpool 3.
