Nope, Wonder Park has had a 7 day opening weekend. That's why it ranks highly.
Jonwo
I'm guessing no one wants to release anything before Avengers, Easter Weekend looks grim, Only £0.2m between Shazam and Dumbo, I imagine Dumbo will hit £20m by next weekend and Shazam £10m,
cdsacken
British love that grim Dumbo. I'm teasing of course, it makes perfect sense that family films do well here. Every time I go to the Vue it's like 70% families.

Wonder how far it will increase in the next two weeks. TFA iirc was around 1.8 million? (not sure of the number) in release week Tuesday.
SchumacherFTW
Looking at the cinemas around me, midnight shows are less than TFA at this point, but Thursday screens are on par, but obviously with fewer show times. This is going to come down to if it can absolutely max out the available seats if it wants to top £10m on OD

Avatree
This weekend is a write off for cinemas. They should just send their staff home. Easter weekend and number one at the box office will probably gross like £27 total

LMAO I love hearing hot at 24c (75 F). It's true though I can never go back to Texas I will melt. 43c is horrible (109) Permanently ruined me. Moving to Washington to avoid it. Jonwo
I'm curious to see how Detective Pikachu does as they've already been a ton of ads both on TV and outside.

It's funny to have weather like this on what should usually be a fairly busy weekend. The box office has been sacrificed to the Sun God, Ra.

Though saying that, the show of The Goonies I'm in now isn't doing too badly.

Nope. 7 people there, and two of them worked at the cinema! (I recognise them, must've been their day off or something)

cdsacken
As of Monday and it will definitely get higher. It's going to be insane in London for this film. Imo I think Cambridge will pretty muted.
