Anyway how does any of this matter. I can understand all time list. But october record holder is not something worth tracking.

Because it seems like Joker is the 5th highest grossing film of all time in Egypt; apart from being the highest grossing Hollywood film in African country - surpassing Bohemian Rhapsody ~

Looks like Joker is the 12th highest grossing film of all time with $36 million EGP and the highest grossing October film of all time - but I'm curious what rating Joker received in Egypt as in the rating system as I'm trying to see if it broke another record too ~

Thanks. Boxofficeindia used to provide updates on it(if its accurate) but they have gone silent on the movie. Plus the website is terrible. They dont even have a page for a movie with its BO. Its just a blog with articles and some charts which have little organization. And we are cribbing about BOM. After look at BOI.com BOM looks great 🙂

and that is the only database we have. However, database ain't that live but its primarily Bollywood films site and it has great database IMO.

e.g. take Dangal for instance;

In the summary page, you get basic and general info about the film, its release size, opening day, weekend, week, full run, overseas gross, estimated footfalls, territory wise data in India and four major overseas markets etc.

They have, in fact Hollywood is much easier but focussed on Bollywood only.

This weekend drop will be pretty bad if we look Thursday number at Germany (-70% from LW), Japan (-43%) and Italy (-77%). It's ok though last weekend is holiday and still enough for 700m OS.

From Thursday number seems so, but it's expected. Last week Friday was really inflated, so this is really shouldn't be much surprise. It still can get below 50% though, we don't know it's drop from many markets like UK, Brazil, Spain, and France.

We always get apprehensive around this time but it always does better than expected. Last week we thought it would drop around -40% but it dropped under -30%. Not to mention November 1 wasn't a public holiday in many big markets like UK, Mexico and Brazil (in Mexico and Brazil, November 2 was a public holiday, but that was on saturday)

November 15 will be a holiday in Brazil, by the way.

Joker also has a record in Romania for an R-rated film (N-15), as well as obviously two in both Israel and Singapore; and is the highest grossing October film in Egypt ~ I'm scouring for other sources as well and recently broken records ~ No one has written any articles as yet - or so I'm led to believe - about Joker in Greece breaking those records.
