moved back two weeks in UK to Aug 12 (weird given nothing else opening on the original July weekend) so could we see this in US as well, or is it a WOM building move...

So annoying! That’s actually a 3 week delay.

It had 22nd of July to itself and nothing opened the week before.

Strange move

this got delayed in south korea from July 20 to August too.

very interesting considering universal korea secured and confirmed that date extremely early (Feb) due to previous film's success.

and with the rumors of unfinished cgi and mixed test screening reviews.. I can totally see this being delayed in US too.

I just can't see them delaying their two top international market like that.

Get Out
South Korea 15.5M
United Kingdom 12.7M
France 9M
Germany    5M
Australia 4.8M

US
United Kingdom 13M
South Korea 11M
Australia 6.6M
France 5.6M
Germany    4.6M

Test screenings went well tho, the main complains on tests was the VFX and minor things like pace (which is common during editing).

But yeah i'm pretty sure they will delay it, simply doesn't make sense that they're releasing globally at this point in August but US will remain in July.

I think a new trailer is coming with JW and probably an August date like the rest of the world.

Yeh I haven’t watched that new spot yet and I’ll avoid the new trailer too.

The UK version of the posters today confirm the August date unfortunately.

Nothing opens wide now on its original date of July 22nd so I honestly can’t see any reason for the move.
