Really weird I guess. No clue what Universal and Comcast are trying to do with Peacock. Ending a pay 1 deal will just give them flexibility on which moves to sell and which to keep. They’ll still sell the majority.
WrathOfHan
Pay 1 windows have become so fractured: Epix: MGM HBO Max: Warner Bros Hulu: 20th Century (2022)/Searchlight, Neon Netflix: Sony (2022) Paramount+: Paramount Peacock: Universal (2022) Showtime: A24 (deal ends this year), Dreamworks (deal ended; I'm assuming it'll renew here), STX Starz: Lionsgate (2022)/Summit (2023) It's crazy that Amazon doesn't have a Pay 1 deal with any studio at the moment. Maybe they'll try to get A24 back once their deal with Showtime ends? Edited July 4, 2021 by WrathOfHan
lorddemaxus
I think Apple might try to get an A24 pay 1 deal (if they even want it). They're distributing quite a bit of A24 films

IIRC, how often trailers were attached to various films he saw. So, for instance, he saw the trailer for F9 in front of 15 different films.
