I wouldn't read too much into the BW comp, as BW was still in its initial surge phase, and even the sheer amount of extra days JWD had isn't enough to really counteract it.  Yet.

 

But I literally don't have anything better as the only other T-24 comps I have are the Day 1 comps for Eternals and Sonic 2.  The Sonic 2 comp is a complete non-starter (50m+), while the Eternals looks fine, actually, (18.6m). But it'll go down rapidly as it settles into the initial CBM surge.

 

So, just gonna have to wait a while for comps to stabilize/more comps to arrive (and for them to stabilize).

IIRC they got a some old Disney animators out for it, production ran through the pandemic, and from looking at the cast list it looks like they removed the Jimmy Pesto character from the film - maybe they had to patch some new stuff in IDK (the voice actor was at the Capitol Insurrection last year and got fired).

No, we stopped having midnights and have had ever-lengthening preview days.  Only exception was Far From Home, which was a true midnight release.  Prob coz it was being released on a Tuesday, so instead of having Monday Previews, they just went Old School and had a midnight release.
