Eh, I don't know. The pace in the last 18 hours was just 9k which doesn't seem that great to me. But it's hard since we don't have like-for-like pace comps.

Yeah I just chose to ignore the recent pace and go with 3-days pace.

Do we know if there was any deal which boosted Tuesday sales @TwoMisfits

Disastrously because you where comparing with outsiders. The best match for FB3 is Uncharted.

1. Same season (covid)

2. Same quadrant

3. UNCHARTED (have a holiday weekend) and even that FB3 is selling better

Very strange seeing the gap between different regions.  Santikos are all located in and around San Antonio and seem to be pointing to a ~5m preview number.   While I probably should lower my prediction from my regional post, I'm sticking with it due to liking those comp movies a lot more than these.

The best match was FB2 and it started like a third of that film

Hmm. Checking regional comps, very ordinary yday. I wonder if there was some discount thingy on Tuesday which inflated the trend.

Either way I am too caught up with my local releases in India to analyse this, so I guess $40-45M you go.

its not 18 hours. I ran it yesterday night again. My earlier run finished 6-7 hours before that. These days the runs are not that fast :-(. May be @ZackM can update thur/fri for FB3 today evening.

Manual here. Its time consuming but it works and all I know about python is that its an animal that likes to give hugs lol

Manual. I don't know any tricks (python script) I basically wait for sell-out. I am talking about Japan Box Office here. When seat reservation is more than 70%, then I subtract the unsold seats from total seats. Again, when reservation is less than 30%, I count sold seats. If 50% then ½ the no. Of total seats..... But, I basically wait for sell-out... Hehehh

Comps look to be converging on mid-6s in Sacto (the FB2 comp is still being affected by the discrepancy in pre-sale length, but it's caught up enough to be noteworthy again).  Saw that things aren't nearly as rosy in Philly, so who knows.  Find out soon enuf what's going on.

Solid start to the day, though 2pm start times might mean some of the actual honest-to-goodness walkups are already starting to be felt.  Still, still on target for mid 6s to high 6s, if Sacto isn't over-performing.  Do think the Dune comp is pretty worthless at this stage given the difference in PLF skew, but might as well leave it just since it's been here all along. No Time to Die and Morbius probably aren't much better given they were (presumably) more skewed to adults than FB3 will be, but the comps are what they are at this stage.

Atom had a generic BOGO deal on 4/11 but it went FAST - so fast, I didn't report it, b/c I don't know how many tickets were "offered"...it was not sponsored by TMobile, but one of the very limited ones...
