Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol 3 MTC2 previews - 31547/558912 454494.39 3554 shows

 

Amazing thing is such a low show count here. It will go up closer to release but chain expected slower presales after Ant 3 !!! its obviously well below DS2 or Thor. But I want to use MTC1 to see where it ends up. MTC2 being less than half MTC1 is about par. At times some movies over perform at MTC1 like Mario is doing. Even Ant 3 relatively had a strong MTC2. Of course that slowed down after a big start which is common for all MCU movies. 

 

There is a chatter about lack of trailer being a culprit. Let us see if MTC1 day 2 sales are dramatically better than usual. I will look at MTC2 after Mario opens.

This is as of this morning and so about day and some time. Pace cratered by 5PM yesterday. Not seeing the new spot making a big difference at this point. 

 

Comps about half of Thor and little over 60% of Wakanda and little over 3/4 of Ant 3. Nothing more to say at this point. Let us see how next day or 2 goes before we project previews/OW. However at this point OW below Vol 2 is likely.

No confirmation, seems increasingly likely that it isn´t. Also Gunn did add that "end of April" was when to look out for spoilers and those usually pop up after premiere so I would lean that it is closer to that 27th April date.
