You deserve more than that IJ, they should give you your own role with bells and whistles.

Why would you want to Sully (get it?!) your greatness by being a mere purple?

If Thor 4, Black Adam, and Black Panther 2 makes over 350m then possibly six live action superhero movies in a row would've made over 350m.

That would be insane.

But I'm not sure Black Adam can do it. The trailer looked good though.

143 is fine considering JWD has much more competition with TGM (Similar demos though Jurassic pulls in more families) than DSMOM had in May.   Remember, technically we are still in "Recovery" for the box office but things have looked much better this year.   But now "Lightyear" and "Minions" around the corner.   We'll have to see how it stabilizes in the coming weeks.    Wow @ Top Gun about to pass DSMOM domestically.   Top Gun won the Box Office in 86, can it win it again?  Well "Avatar 2" has Christmas and New Years to clean up so probably not but Top 2-3 is looking strong Domestically.    Considering how DS opened, that's crazy that TG actually caught up.   Yes A Billion WW is on the table but it will probably have to crawl there.   As for where to go from here.   Definitely take some years off but I think the Jurassic Brand is still very strong.    We can't expect it to break records for every movie.

FK did a bigger number (Even if slight) in Incredibles 2's 2nd weekend vs TG:M's 3rd. I've defended Dominion's number here before, but we can't make excuses either. This absolutely could've (and honestly should've) done at least past 150.

EDIT: And Incredibles 2 opened to 180 vs Top Gun's 127.
