Puck also note that talent fees for the recent Emmy winner “Chip N’ Dale: Rescue Rangers” were “laughably low,” with participating stars doing so as a favor to director Akiva Schaffer. Favors for friends are a kind of currency, sure, but they’re cold, hard cash. That offer to Hader, Kaling, and the rest of the supporting cast of “Inside Out 2” is laughably insulting. If the reports are true, Poehler makes fifty times the amount of money of anybody else on the cast; that’s absurd.”

Think they’re either lying about characters cutting, will begrudgingly pay demands last ditch or Chapek finally got what he wanted and all animation will go to the Plus, with this being a glorified DTV movie like Lightyear.

Damn, they're straight up just cutting out Kaling and Hader's characters? The hell? That decision's going to clash heavily with the core idea of Inside Out. I definitely do not envy whoever at Pixar's in charge of this movie. Marvel's so lucky to have Feige as (ironically) an impenetrable shield. Could you imagine where we would be now had Feige actually bailed during the Perlmutter-Civil War debacle?

The original newsletter says nothing about cutting the characters, only that the original voice actors will not be back. That is added speculation from the playlist.net.

I relay hate these clickbait movie fansites. 

 

The actual idea that they ran a piece saying 2 cartoon characters could never return because the voice actors quit is just wild to me.  

 

EDIT: The author of the article has written 10 different full pieces in just 24 hours... it's truly one of those kind of sites.

The fact Avatar is an original IP made by James Cameron and never has been bought by Fox or Disney. They're Distributors only.
