Avatar 2 lead over TGM is shrinking really fast

TGM was putting up insane weekday holds

A2's good holds came early in its run when there was little competition, TGM's best holds are from now on where it has no competition for the rest of its run

Yeh I think people forget (or don’t know) how Smile ended. Americans don’t usually like an ending like that

We've had a bunch of American horror movies that end with an ending like that, like the movies it was ripping off (and honestly, The Ring ending is a way darker version).

These next coming weeks aren't going to be nice to Avatar with PLF losses this week, Titanic opening next week, and Ant-Man the following weekend, so expect some more serious drops ahead. Nonetheless, passing IW is still within the range of possibilities, even as the high-end has begun to shrink in the past few days.

How is Scream VI looking? Will it repeat Knock At The Cabin?

Tickets on sale in the US on Wednesday and BOPro should be posting their tracking for Scream VI later this week.

I love The Ring, but I disagree, The Ring ending wasn’t as dark and didn’t involve

Spoiler

the lead character dying

Spoiler

The main character dying or the main character continuing to suffer from the horror has been done so a bunch of times in horror before (recent examples I can think of like Hereditary, Drag Me to Hell, The Empty Man, the Candyman remake, Ouija prequel, Doctor Sleep). The main character in The Ring consciously deciding to spread the curse to others so that she and her son won't die is much darker than most death endings I've seen including the one in Smile.

Will Knock at the Cabin be the first LGBT character(s) led film to be #1 or has there been something in the past that I'm missing?

And I should have read all the posts..although I am certain it opened #1:)...
