Indy easily has the biggest drop from Sunday to Monday in the top 10. Proving unequivocally it's definitely a weekend movie.

great marketing for Passion of the Christ 2

if SoF can do 100 + million then Passion can probably do 300+

While I agree, some level of that drop is losing business to MI7, which also took over PLF screens Monday night for the EA shows

Officially no, won't be out until tomorrow at earliest with previews, and may not be separated. But from tracking numbers, thinking ~$2M for Mon plus a little bit more from Sun (so $2-$2.5M total)

So reading the projections for mission impossible, they're saying around 100 million for the 5-day. That doesn't sound really spectacular to me. Indiana Jones got around 85 million for the 5-day and it's likely going to miss 200 million. So 100 million in 5 days, what are we hoping for? 250?

Inflated holiday for Indy and Mission Impossible leg out more. There is also way more of an OS market at play here.

Yes I understand about the overseas market but I was just speaking domestically.

Pretty wild that some people were hoping for a Ratatouille esqe run for Elemental and that's almost exactly what happening.

My faith was pretty badly shaken by the lukewarm reviews I must admit, but somehow it's just striking a chord with audiences in a way their other mid-review movies recently haven't.

Passion Of The Christ made 370 million domestically alone back in 2004. I know the pandemic has shrunk the theatrical audience but if WOM is as crazy as the last one was 20 years ago, then 400 million domestic for the sequel is in play.
