I hope it crosses Jurassic World domestic on Labor Day weekend as well and not on one of the days after, would love to get an update that it crossed it's two last major milestones around the same time, would help boost it in the news too and remind people to watch it in theaters during it's expansion week.

Jurassic World is still a milestone to pass but it'll be a cherry on top if/when it passes that one. We've been tracking it against Lion King (and Jurassic domestic) for so long. It'll be a sigh of relief when it finally does it.

Deadline: A $9.1M 11th offshore frame (-35%) lifts the international cume to $1,002.7M with global now at $1.649B. The Top 5 overseas markets are Mexico ($102.2M), Brazil ($80M), UK ($72.7M), France ($62.6M) and Korea ($60.8M).

28% drop from LW. Incredible. Every step of the way.

Correction: last weekend was 13.9M. So the drop is 35% (although actuals may be higher).

This is virtually guaranteed at this point.

If it did $9.1M OS off a $2.2M DOM gross this weekend, I think it has around $15M DOM and $60M OS left for around $660M DOM and $1065M OS for $1.725B WW

$60M more in OS markets is way too much. Probs more like $30-40M I think.

Surpassing JW by next Mon is too early.

Most likely it’s going for a 660m DOM total and 1.05B for 1.715B. Or it barely crosses 1.7B depending on how it holds in the next couple of weeks

I don't think it's out of the question given the bumps that Labor Day expansions tend to give to the Pixar movies. On the 4-day it can be seeing around 3X of this weekend's gross on the high end, which would give it around 6 million on the 4-day which, along with the weekday numbers, would put it over Jurassic domestic on the Monday. And they can just put out their full holiday weekend estimate headlines on the day of. I was talking about the 4-day not the 3-day, since I wasn't clear.

It depends on how much of a boost it gets. I'm look at Toy Story 4, Incredibles 2 and the original Inside Out. But Inside Out 2 had a higher weekend gross pre-labor day than all of those and is in more theaters, so it's possible the boost it gets is closer to a 2.5X and it won't pass for a few more days.

At the moment IO2 is already:

#11 DOM (636.5M) (642.2M) (646.3M)

#12 OS (957.3M) (983.8M) (1,002B)

#10 WW (1,594B) (1.626B) (1,649B)

It should add +24M +17M +11.2M +7.2M domestically to become #10 DOM (JW 653.5M)

It should add +89M +61M +34M +16M internationally to become #10 OS (JW 1,018B)

It should add +104M +69M +37M +14M worldwide to end the stupid debate about #1 animation movie ever (TLK 1,663B) and become #9 WW

Extra:

It should add +22M worldwide to become #8 WW (JW 1,671B)

IF #1 and #2 are fulfilled, then #3 and #4 will automatically happen.

I'm sure that #3 will definitely happen next weekend (because the only $14M gap between The Lion King 2019 and IO2), but for #4 will wait the first week of September to see the actual BO figure.

Just noticed many people are using the incorrect 1.663 billion dollars for The Lion King, which is due to one of their usual and annoying bugs with small re-releases that never get fixed

In reality it grossed 1.656 billion, and those 7M from a fictional UK re-release don't exists...
