Any reason for those awful increases?

I assume a combo of Spring Break (which inflated Friday) and maybe early St. Paddys Day stuff? To be under 50% for both of them is tough, but not terribly out of line with the last couple of years.

To bad nothing else is making any money this month.

Angel Studios movies seem to all make around the same amount 10-15m.

Dog movies usually make decent money.  But, Arthur isnt making much.

Imaginary is the only horror film and is going to pull in Nightswim numbers.

Boring weekend.

Yeah, GxK will do great but I was mostly talking about something mid budget breaking out.  Besides, Dune and Panda this month everything else is meh/bad

Honestly, it seems like it's the first "bad" day of Dune's run yet with a 39% drop from last Saturday it's still not even bad, it's amazing.

Oh expectations, how you have ruined it for us

I think Arthur the King could've done better with a more aggressive marketing campaign since Dog proved there is still an audience for canine flicks featuring A-listers (even if Wahlberg has always been a wildly inconsistent draw). But I guess the studio didn't see it as worth the effort for a movie that was sitting on the shelf for a few years and was only given a theatrical release because of the barren schedule due to the strikes.

Yeah, Dog was basically only the second truly original film to make $60M post-COVID IIRC, its breakout was a very pleasant surprise with how few non-sequels had done well up to that point. People love dogs, and I think there's still an audience for something sentimental and cheesy like this. But yeah Lionsgate didn't try nearly as hard as it could have; the only time I saw that trailer in front of a movie was Napoleon in IMAX and Perfect Days last weekend.

About $100k higher than Drive-Away Dolls in 1,000 less theaters. Guess there's a $2.5M cap on opening weekends for lesbian crime movies.
