This line of thinking perplexes me. CR's a really good film but there's nothing more 'Bondish' about it than Skyfall.

We can all agree that QoS was shite.

It was disgustingly overhyped.

The attempt to bridge the post-TDK 'darkness' with the more camp elements from older Bonds was just so jarring to me.

Agreed . I really wanted to like it but it just felt like a dark reboot when casino royal was already a reboot . Anyway my favorite bond is ...George lazenby so what do I know...

Skyfall was one of my favourite movies from 2012 

 

Could Mockingjay, or even to a lesser extent, Peanuts, hurt this? I mean, Breaking Dawn didn't hurt Skyfall, but Hunger Games has a lot more crossover appeal, and Peanuts might bring in the nostalgia crowd....

That is fantastic.  I wondered if actors can enjoy the films they starred in.  Makes sense because it's hard to get a feel for a film when you are shooting scenes out of order and without FX.  Also, actors aren't in every scene.   There's alot going on outside of what they're tasked to do.

 

I question whether he allowed cameras to film him watching all 6+ hrs of the first 3 Indiana Jones movies.
