Grand Cine
So 11M for Sat , so 9M for Sun !!! LOL Edit : Fri is up , Sat is at 11,4M and Sun is at 8,4M , only 30% drop. I'm more about 40% drop for Sun and more like 38,5M for the weekend Edited Sunday at 03:31 PM by Grand Cine

filmlover
Joker's definitely missing $75M total. This is officially an even bigger embarrassment than either Alice Through the Looking Glass or The Marvels were and that's saying something.

XXRDJisDoctorDoom
WB calls it $40M, which will get the headlines. Then when it adjusts down to $38.5M in 2 days, only people like us will be aware of it.

Gavin Feng
Deadline try to start a war between fans of divas Quote The only nice thing you can say about Joker: Folie à Deux‘s opening here when it comes to movie musicals, is that its stateside start is bigger than the entire domestic gross of Cats ($27.1M). 2

Saturday apparently was 11.5 and not 10.5 how someone predicted here so probably It's true is near to 40M. No, but I think the expectation was Arthur would fully embrace Joker and become the dark prince of Gotham. vale9001
The fun thing is a similar movie to joker with Joaquin Phoenix (like the king of comedy can be similar to taxi driver) with the marketing of "the first film of the joker director reunited with Joaquin Phoenix" and a 40M budget would have opened probably with just 10M less. But Warner decided to do play the sequel card of a movie didn't Need It. Edited Sunday at 03:47 PM by vale9001
Grand Cine
The top 10 is at 84M . With a 75-80M% drop for Joker 2 and newcomers with low perspective outside of Terrifier 2 ( Piece by Piece and Saturday Night) , next weekend could be one the worst of the year. emoviefan
Remember when we were saying that the final 4 months were going to be great and carry the momentum that started in June with BB ROD through the rest of the year. Fun times. Although this weekend will be above this weekend last year. The next few weekends are going to be brutal though with the Era's and Five Nights at Freddys comps through the end of the month. I think the ending of the first one implied Joker becoming a cult leader, Charles Manson type of figure, in fact Gaga's Harley was inspired by Manson girls. But unfortunately Phillips didn't go there.
