I'd say the best comparison is something between TDK and Avatar. It's not quite the event that Avatar was, and without the holiday bonus, but it's got the all-ages appeal that TDK lacked.WOM is similar to TDK, if not slightly better. I think people feel a little more excited coming out of Avengers than they did TDK. TDK was fantastic for the first 2/3 but drags a bit in the last act, Avengers drags in the first 1/3 but is fantastic in the end.Avatar similarly had the more exciting final act.So, not Avatar legs, but better than TDK.

cause you were bitchy to me. You can`t deny that HP movies had serious gaps in logic due to important stuff omissions amid all the care about character and shit. See, happens to character drivne movies too. That doesn`t make them bad, just "could have been ah-mazing if...". Edited by fishnets

Wait a second, WOM for TDK is some of the best out there ever no discussion on that. Some have it as their favorite movie of all time and more as their favorite comic book movie and I still see a lot of that on here.

TA is not TDK. TDK is a masterpiece. TA is a well-executed popcorn flick. Both films are in two different realms of existence.

he meant that TDK didn`t have a wide-range appeal like TA cause, lets face it, it isn`t a kids-friendly movie. TA is really 8-88 one.
