His only straying from it, Seven Pounds, didn`t do the trick which was enough for him to take a hiatus and announce bunch of sequels as his future projects. Hoping for the ebst for After Earth though I can`t stand and don`t trust MNS.Anyway, they can`t groom Brad and Leo into another Will because they are interesting in variety of projects including tough sells. I'm going to refuse to believe it so I won't have "disappointment" later. I greatly prefer seeing bad movies tank instead of seeing bad movies make bank, and thats pretty much what's happened in May so far. It's even better when a really good movie shatters records at the same time.A 'better' May box office wise wouldve meant something like Battleship doing well, and I prefer not to live in a world where that happens.Same here. There is always the thought that studios will see what did well and what did poorly and based future decisions on those insights. Probably wistful thinking on my part. As someone mentioned, a bomb is still a "happening"...thus "interesting". I would find it much more "interesting" if, for instance, a Transformers movie bombed than if it was a huge hit. The MIB Friday would put it on track for 58 mill 3 day and if you give it a 3 multiplier from that plus the 10 from Monday u have about 170 mill, great for my summer game prediction lol. I was thinking 10m at best for Avengers so 11-12m would be shocking indeed if true.And I need MIB3 to do a bit more for my game.... I have it at 195m currently and in the #5 spot.
