The trailer was pretty awesome though. Leagues better than what Warcraft put out for their first trailer. Rogue One may not have the holidays all to itself this time, this movie, Passengers and Sing will all do good business as well.

I think it looks really good and I've never even played any of the games. I showed it to my son who has and he thought it looked good as well. He said, well at least it doesn't look cheesy like other video games movies have lol

Also, the last two Assassin's Creed have not been well-received and didn't sell well, especially the last one. They won't even release one this year, in an attempt to save the franchise. Bad timing to release the movie.
