The Warner Bros. Thread | Will NOT merge with Paramount...capitalism is still terrible

What the hell is Dune Entertainment?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dune_Entertainment

All movies produced by them. Includes Die Hard 5, Life of Pi and Rise of the Planet of the Apes. They are a American motion picture financing company affiliated with 20th Century Fox.

To answer a recent question:

Legendary will still collect from its copyright ownership on movies like The Dark Knight but any future Batman movies will stay at Warner Bros. Godzilla, which Legendary is currently financing at Warner Bros. for a 2014 release, will stay with the studio with Legendary taking a big chunk of any profits.

42 gave LP a 95M profit.

Then all it needs is a successful film franchise of its own. Pacific Rim is not likely to be that kicking off point but many feel Tull is well-positioned to find the next big thing.

So pessimistic.

It is possible that Dune is simply not being exclusive to Fox, Relativity Media financed films for Sony, Universal and Lionsgate. Legendary is unlikely to go to Disney since they finance everything themselves so its going to be Universal.
