Avengers: Endgame might break the record of showtimes proportion previously held by Transformers 2(70%+ vs 72.8%).

10 years ago when I first tracked the box office in China, the market was not so big & didn't have so many movies to show(no more than 40k everyday for all titles), so any big title could easily get 60%+ showtimes at that period. In recent years, the market has the ability to arrange 300k showtimes everyday(400k in CNY), so 100-150k for most big titles mean 33-50%. Few could reach 60%, and now EG is reaching 70-80%. It's really hard to imagine this situation could reappear today.

Also because of the 3 hours runtime, showtimes of all releasing movies for the whole day could be lower than 300k for the first time in 2019. EG would get 210k+ on opening day, while other titles could not earn 90k combined in the rest of the limited time.
