Ozymandias
People here seem to like The Grey. I had gotten the impression that it was a divisive film; some thinking it was great, others mediocre. Gonna check it out now. Too bad its Liam Neeson though. The Grey is an excellent film. Aside from its gritty intensity, dialogue, and really, really fleshed out characters, its a very thematically stacked and philosophical film, so much so that the wolves basically work like a metaphor in it. Theres always gonna be some douchey people that think they're entitled to a closed or happy ending, but I thought it was riveting. These are my favorite kinds of movies, the ones that aim high. The Grey was the biggest unexpected surprise of the year for me. When I went to see this movie, I was expecting a fun B-movie about a bunch of guys stuck in the wild dealing with a hungry wolf problem, but it turned out to be infinitely more. lilmac
Based on the RT scores (61%) alone, I'll have to add Jack Reacher to the list. The audience and I liked it. It won't crack most people's top 5 for 2012 but it is certainly deserving of a better RT score IMO. 80% is more accurate.

SchumacherFTW
I watched Lockout yesterday with my girlfriend. One of this year's hidden gems, Guy Pearce is the man in that movie!

Ozymandias
Dredd because of its pitiful box office, The Hobbit because its miles better than the critics say.Meh... I don't think Boxoffice has anything to do with a film being "underrated". The movie kicked ass and the critics agreed.
Rovex
I do, while it was popular with those that saw it, everyone else seems somewhat dubious about it.
