Great film, based off of one of the best rides at Disneyland! (I went to Disneyworld for the first time this September, while there were somethings that were better-the ride there stunk compared to the Disneyland version)Anyway, Depp was great as Sparrow in the roll that made him an even bigger star.A+

One of the greatest adventure films of all time. There are very few films that can captivate me the way PoTC1 did. Fantastic story, great acting, remarkable visuals, and will undoubtedly end up a classic.

This is what a fun, entertaining movies is supposed to be. Great performances by a few people in the film, namely Geoffrey Rush and of course, an iconic one from Johnny Depp. Great soundtrack as well which probably doesn't get the love it deserves.

Jeezus, what are you Borelando and The Jaw fanboy? How the hell can anyone love that horrid movie in which The Jaw emulates Mel Gibson, if Gibson had a King Kong jaw and pouted after every 2 words. okayAnyways this movie just came out of nowhere in 2003..Comparison I Can think of is like TF in 2007.Martix Reloaded was suppose to be the film of the Summer everyone just went nuts for Pirates.It had a very old school run, starting with a good opening and chugging along.It went to sell millions of DVDs and get a cult following really.Everyone Liked watched this movie like 2-3 times on DVD and TV as well.A-
