The realistic number would be to use the 1USD=50 bolivars. When the government can no longer supply the 6.3 rate, that should be when all the accounting numbers get adjusted.

Enjoyed season 2 and the finale. The last scene made me jump out of my seat... I got lucky since I essentially did not watch season 1. Shield and Forever were my only shows I watched. Now that Forever is cancelled, quantico seems interesting. -

And they don't have to pay marketing for the movie, which can also be substantial. In the US, it can be 60-80mil easily. Having 25% of the gross without having to pay anything extra is fine for the studios. -
But they should get very close to each other since there is only one actual

well, it's probably up to the studios to change the rate. They probably were hoping for the best until at some point they need to report it to the shareholders.

Disney lost $143million in foreign currency exchange in Venezuela based on the latest earning estimate. http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2015/03/01/youll-never-guess-how-disney-just-lost-143-million.aspx Instead of the exchange rate at the official rate 6.3, they only got the exchange rate at SICAD2 (50) The reported $ of the movie gross is truly inflated.

Do the total admission numbers got reported at all? Or maybe the 3D/PLF percentages can help identify whether it's just the premium price that decreased or also the admissions. -
So, it's like 2.5x than last Monday? Is it a holiday in SK?

Seriously? Wow.,,

The studios do NOT get the favorable exchange rate from the government. The $ that the studios stated are just PAPER amount - a bragging rights, it's nothing to do with what they can actually take out of the country.

Yup, current tally (very close to the final): Total WW: $652.8m Total Dom: $222.1m Total OS: $43.7m Biggest OS: China - $84.7m followed by Japan - $76.2m and then UK - $28.8m -
Donna Langley (Uni boss) mentioned F&F should go at least until F&F10.

Into the Woods is not a typical Disney fare and it has a very dark stage 3, so it has probably overachieved a bit. Les Miz is way, way more popular than ITW, and the songs are also way more popular. 200m should be all right as ITW's theater income. Miss Saigon, Wicked would have a chance to exceed Les Miz when they got made into movies.

^^^ All numbers are estimate. Still missing many Asian countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand...), some smaller European countries. I think for Cinderella, the $500m ($200 dom+$300 OS) would be the target. Hopefully a bit more.
