A Marvel Fanboy
Box Office: ‘The Great Gatsby’ Racing Towards $50 Million Despite mixed reviews, Baz Luhrmann’s 3D stylization of “The Great Gatsby” is having no trouble jazzing up the box office. Warner Bros.’ adaptation of the classic American novel is tracking for a strong $18.5 million Friday and $50 million weekend, according to early estimates.
Kvikk Lunsj
It looks like Kal-El from BOM has found a job at every box office tracking website and is giving out his predictions for this week. Fucking Dean had to give Kal-E a job.

This weekend’s other over-performer, “Iron Man 3,” should easily defeat “Gatsby” for the top spot, with an estimated $70 million in its sophomore frame Stateside. redfirebird2008
I really hate the word 'tracking' or 'trending'. Just stfu Exactly. Total bullshit. Until proven otherwise I'm just going with what BTC says. They got it right last week and we know they have actual data backing up their projections.

Lordmandeep
I dont understand why you guys doubt IM3 It did really well in local theaters here . Think min is now 65 + million for sure. but looking for 70 in and around+ Edited May 11, 2013 by Lordmandeep
Biggestgeekever
The fact that estimates/projections are going up from the ones this afternoon is a good sign. And I seem to be sensing some hostility towards IM3, for some reason.

Think min is now 65 + million for sure. but looking for 70 in and around+ Nobody is doubting it. We are doubting the reports that are coming in (which are all over the map honestly). BTC seems like the most trustworthy. They have data backing them up and they nailed it last week (174 prediction, 174 actual). They're predicting 70, so I'll go with that.
