PDC1987
Same could be said about IM3 coming off The Avengers.TDKR had way better reviews than IM3. Yes, TA is the only reason IM3 increased so much over it's predecessors.
CoolioD1
There's This is the End and then there's everything else. And this is coming from someone who really liked Man of Steel. Yep. Best film of the summer by faaaar.
Blankments
Why yes Goyer was one of the writers. How did you figure that out? Goyer didn't write DKR. Also, I thought R.I.P.D. was just going to be F.L.O.P.

redfirebird2008
TDKR only opened big enough to hit $1 billion total because of goodwill generated by it's predecessor, it had nothing to do with the film's own merits. In case you didn't notice it's legs weren't nearly as good as TDK. Its legs were actually GREAT for the superhero genre. And the truth is the general audience liked the movie very much even if you hated it.

Jack Nevada
Out of the three Only God Forgives was the hardest to sit through. I didn't consider walking out of TLR or MoS (the latter because I was asleep through half of the movie lol) but I came really close to leaving Only God Forgives. Such insufferable shit. ChD
Man of Steel was my favorite blockbuster so far this year. Might watch Pacific Rim in its second or third weekend, although I'm not sure about it.

ecstasy
I liked everything I've seen so far this year. If I had to choose a "worst", MOS would be it.
Founder / Operator Shawn Robbins Posted July 3, 2013 Founder / Operator Share Posted July 3, 2013 Star Trek 2 is the best of the summer by a pretty good margin IMHO. This. But TITE is extremely close in my book.

Blankments
He wrote the story with Chris Nolan. Jonathan Nolan wrote the screenplay based on that story. He still didn't write it. I'm tired of everyone complaining about the dialogue in MoS (which is bad at some point, I admit), and then going to complaining how Goyer ruined DKR. News flash: He didn't write any dialogue for DKR. Also, on a random note but something's that has been annoying: I hate when people argue opinions just by saying "Well, it's more popular so it's better." I'm not talking about if DM is more popular, it's my own opinion that Cloudy is better. [/endminirant]
