The first one seems to be big with all the same people that Pitch Perfect is. I think there is definitely more interest in this than The Conjuring sequel, Warcraft will be a bit of a wildcard though

that "same people" are not the full part of people who go to the movies and see the same movie. Sequels have to be necessary not because of profit, and sequels should be like okay this what the original provided us we want to see more of this.

Jon M Chu is directing, so pretty much a guarantee that it will look good and the magic choreography will be good since this actually seems to have a decent budget unlike Jem.

The twist in this will be that Daniel Radcliffe is actually super competent and is secretly the grandson of Michael Caine who is out for revenge on them, and Lizzy Caplan is his girlfriend.

 

Note: I have no idea if this is the case, just speculating, but sounds like it could happen.

except like planet of the apes how many movies with twist endings even get sequels? that on it's own is such a weird idea to me. even in apes they must've realised the narrative corner they'd put themselves in so they blew up the planet to start from scratch at the end of the second. so I'm betting the same thing happens here.
