Still feel like Lee Daniels in Weird Campy Paperboy/Shadowboxer mode is waaaay better than Lee Daniels in gimme an Oscar Precious/Butler mode.

You shouldn't be.  It's going to be the first sequel to increase when the first film did more than 400 mill.

If CF increases over THG, it will probably outgross IM3 since IM3 grossed just 1 million more than THG.

 

Anyway, just the fact that a sequel of a 400 million movie can reach that number again is amazing and never seen before.

Lord of the Rings, Home Alone and Narnia pass every Christmas over here. And usually some of the Potter movies.

 

This year Narnia 1 and Narnia 2 will pass back to back starting 11 PM on Christmas day.
