Even 4B is low, I think to have a Titanic level success now would be $5B+ and I'm serious.

Given that Titanic DOUBLED previous record holder, I would agree with this. Anyone old enough to remember Titanic knows that truly topping it, accounting for inflation and market expansion, might never happen again with the rise of corporate assembly line committee movies. Cameron is a true blockbuster auteur the likes of which we may never see again.

Interesting post about Quaritch, I thought he maybe a clone but that article hints to me like he is being resurrected through Eywa.

Quaritch is going to be this generations vader just watch.

Quaritch will come back as a  Na'vi and fight for the good guys.

He's confirmed as the main villain for the saga and as a villain in all 4 films!

Also the Na'vi are dumb animals, not the good guys! Quaritch will get rid of them, it will be humane... more or less.

Hmmm...

I wish JC hadn't done that.  It makes it one big saga broken out into 4 movies.

A lot rests in Quaritch becoming an iconic villain

To quote Robert Rodriquez... "Always trust in Jim"

Also Jim has mentioned a few times now that he likes his movies to be self contained stories and that 2&3 work perfectly without 4&5.

Small brains don't realise he's still unbeaten. They've drunk the cool aid.

I thought you'd had an existential crisis about wasting so much time talking to children about movies, and killed yourself Tele. I'm glad to see that isn't he case.

Your unmatched wit and intelligence has been sorely missed.

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

Avatar + Disney?  What about Star Wars?  NASA + Disney?

It looks like Avatar could have been at work with NASA 8 years ago though, IDK...

Jim has been on various NASA advisory boards for some time.
