Animated version of Get Out? What? So weird. Lol

I admit I debated throwing in that tweet, but the other references to it being on the weird side pushed it over the edge. ;)

I suspect she's being slightly cheeky.  But perhaps not too cheeky. YiBe40t.png

Thinking around 92-96 on RT.  Maybe around 8.2/10 to 8.6/10?

It's not getting Perfect Acclaim, as there are some dissonant notes out there, though I have yet to run across an actual mixed or negative review.  But thinking clear 90s here on RT judging by the tenor of what is being said.

This and Frozen 2 will duke it out in the awards season next year. I'll put in HTTYD3 as a runner up.

I guess Frozen 2 will need to be much better than the first one to beat TS4.

The good news, Frozen 2 actually seems way more interesting than the first based on trailers, so it will be a good battle.

Yes Yes Yes. Bring it on critics! I was so surprised at the horror angle of the film. Maybe because of the inclusion of Peele? Lol

Makes sense, considering there's a scene featuring a bunch of ventriloquist dolls. Those things are the stuff of nightmares, lemme tell ya.

Not an RT critic, but perhaps one of the more important leading indicators:

How this goes over with kids and families is, after all, one of the most important things when it comes to WOM.

There are some other ones out there, but I'll let them sit for now.

Thinking more screenings should be getting out any time now, given the comments from @ViewerAnon here and Germain Lussier on Twitter.

They screened it a Cinemara here which is a great 600 seat theater (couldn't go though! I was kind of gutted lol), so they're definitely doing a lot of high profile showings on the West Coast.
