Now that CA:TWS has defeated The Lego Movie once and for all....I don't care as much as I did last week. I'd like to know how Maleficent did though and some CA:TWS actuals would be nice.

Urrgghh, I don't understand why this matters. it's not gonna diminish what mockingjay does or anything.

 

Seriously, who the eff cares. It's not like first 100M ow of the year is remotely important or worthwhile in even one single person's book.

 

Now the first ever 100M OW of all time? Sure, that's a huge honor and record. But first in any given calendar year? No one cares.

I'm not fed up with the number, I am fed up that Paramount thinks its okay to lie about a number because they think it matters.  So what if your movie grossed 97m instead of 100m, report the actuals.

 

When numbers say actuals I would like the actuals and not a studio lying to have a more impressive number.  Mainly if Paramount gets away with lying about a number now, other studios will try to do so in the future.  And if you are lying about your stats there's no reason to even follow them anyways.

Exactly! LG should of lied about CF's OW then, because that wouldn't have been a big deal or anything.....

This is unfortunate. I thought this movie was gaining some traction. Haven't even looked at overseas numbers yet. Is it at least doing okay overseas?
