Yeah that's the sense I'm getting. I feel like DUMBO is totally being slept on when in fact it looks really, really good!

And also trailer numbers are promising... counting just US Disney channels on YT / FB / TT we have

 

1st trailer: 41.7 million views

2nd trailer: 31.5 million views

 

It's not on TLK / Aladdin levels, but it's good enough, with a good reception this could be a $ 550 - 600M grosser

There's a home movie of me watching Dumbo as a 4 year old with tears in my eyes. It's probably my favorite Disney movie.

 

Still have bugger-all interest in this.

Still a shame about the kids replacing the Timothy Q Mouse - maybe the best Disney sidekick/best friend ever.

Looks like an interesting interpretation of the animated film. TLK will be good but probably be a much more shot for shot remake than The Jungle Book was. And Aladdin well......idk what's going on with that film.
