As a box office fanatic, it's been a sad sad summer.That being said...in terms of movie quality...year to date, 2014 hands down beats 2013.

So would I.And quite frankly...I blame this summers box office on last summer anyway. Sequelitis on a industry wide scale...At least the movies are good. But look at the bright side...this downturn of tons of sequels and franchise properties means Hollywood will reassess, and start looking to doing intelligent, original product just like the renaissance or the 1970s.Ha, ok, I'm just fuckin with you. Moar sequels!
