why are they always in such a rush to give a weekend number ? its hardly 11am and they're already deciding how the rest of day will play out pffffffff

 

i'd understand if they did it around 3/4pm

 

It's rather remarkable how close they get but they've been doing this a long time and they know the patterns.

I was turned off the movie the second I saw The Rock in a picture sporting the Lion head. I don't care if it's fake, I am not one for movies that glorify the killing of animals.

Which means, WB really should get Batman vs Superman the fuck away from Captain America 3 now.

CinemaScore is no surprise.  That's a pretty good gender mix.  And that 3D share definitely helped.

25% of the monthly opening weekend records are owned by MCU films. It will drop down to two next April of course, but that's still pretty cool.
