Well if you take the top 20 domestic, only 3 are original (Ride Along, Neighbors, Lucy), all 3 sucked.

Oy, the dead of box office season is upon us.

 

It's sad the only thing I care about is GOTG passing the $300 million mark. Happy it'll get there. But sweet Jesus, it's not fun tracking movies now. I can't wait for Maze Runner.  Actually, I'm hoping Dolphin Tale 2 breaks out to $20 million or more. I did like the first one, and I might wait to see what others say if it'd be worth taking my son to.

I am late to the party but I went to see Guardians here in the UK last night (still sold out) and I loved it. Loved it. Best movie of the summer, maybe year.About 10-15 people walked out during it (!?). Did this happen in anyone else's showings?

No but I've met a few people who thought it was terrible. I put that down to the fact this is having such good WOM which is bringing people who would usually skip these sort of film to see it and half way through realising it's just not for them.
