I don't think there's been any hating on Gump. Just reservation on seeing it in IMAX.

True especially since GOTG lost all IMAX this weekend. If it had IMAX this weekend it probably hits 3M+ again on Friday.

LOL, Forrest Gump was on ABC Family tonight. It's on TV all the time, all these years later. People like the movie, but it's not a huge visual spectacle that demands being seen on the big screen let alone IMAX.

I think The Equalizer has a decent chance at opening over 30, although mid 20's is more likely. Denzel action movies are pretty consistent, looking at his last 7 action movies 3 opened over 30m, the lowest opening was about 22.7m
