I think Ouija will be number 1, its Sunday drop was 50%....Nightcrawlers is 35% smallest drop in the top 10 aside from Book Of Life (whatever that is???) which was number 1 on Sunday after 17 days.

 

 

 

Nightcrawler is "Number 1" for the weekend but didn't spend a single day of the weekend at Number 1. Ouija won Friday and Saturday, Book of Life won Sunday.

 

 

That would actually be pretty cool if Nightcrawler was #1 for the weekend but didn't win a single day.

 

 

As for the Sunday estimates, the Nightcrawler one doesn't look too unbelieveable compared to Fury, St Vincent, John Wick, and Birdman.

 

On the other hand, Before I Go To Sleep might be stretching a bit much to reach that 2M mark:

What do you guys think the chances of Guardians crawling to 800M are? Are there even any markets left to open?

I wish Nightcrawler had done a bit better. Not just because I changed my prediction to 12M + last minute, but because I think it deserves more. Fingers crossed it survives the Interstellar/BH6 showdown and makes it to 30-40M+!

Are Fury's OS numbers in yet? I'm curious to see how that's doing...

I would love it if Nightcrawler and Ouija stayed this close, it would be both the smallest percentage difference and the smallest admissions gap between #1 and #2 of all time, and only the third smallest gross difference of all time. This is some 80s/90s off-season dead weekend shit right here.

What's telling is that it's even Colin Firth's worst wide opening, and even worse for Clarius than Legends of Oz:Dorothy's Return.
