Gravity was fun. It never tried to be anything but a straight thriller movie with a solid performance from Sandra Bullock. This irritating need to down play Gravity to praise Interstellar (not accusing you of doing this) is really irritating.

GRAVITY had some of the most amazing scenes I've ever seen in any movie. That Bullock scene where she was like a baby in a womb floating in space and the ship crashing into the Earth's atmosphere were gorgeous shots.

Gravity is one of the most exhilarating experiences I've ever had at the movies, as the first time I was literally left breathless by the end. I don't care how "simple" some wanna say it is, it's fucking brilliant too. Especially as a cinematic experience.
