Lordmandeep
The movie doesn't need saving. lol I meant from being seen as a huge dissapointment. Like DOFP did quite decent domestically but considering all that star power the domestic performance was sort of expected. It was the overseas results that really made it into a super smash hit. John Marston
Isn't it obvious the people using terns like "Floppingjay" are just joking. I don't know why people take it seriously
The Stingray
Karate Kid on TV. Movies were so much better in the '80s. You're the best around/Nothing's gonna ever keep you down. Also, Elizabeth Shue is superhot.
Wormow
3D should happen. Unlike this year Bond will be big competition next year as well. But Lionsgate aren't going to do 3D for Mockingjay - Part 2 :s I just really hope they do a big international push next year to get it above 1B
TServo2049
Overseas markets will save MJ1 as they saved TF4, Apes 2 and DOFP. And Dragon 2, and Edge of Tomorrow, and (it seems) Interstellar. I'm starting to notice a pattern this year...

DOFP made over $700 million and improved markedly over the last X-men film overrall.
AniNate
I guess JLaw having more nudes than a professional 45-year-old pornstar who's been in the business since she was 18 turned off some parents? It boggles my mind how this is considered anywhere close to a "family-friendly" franchise, anyway.

kayumanggi
Studios make these movies for the worldwide audience, not for America alone.
Avatree
And Dragon 2, and Edge of Tomorrow, and (it seems) Interstellar. I'm starting to notice a pattern this year... Edge of Tomorrow doesn't count, everyone knew it would flop for many months before it released. Also, Apes certainly did much better overseas, but it was hardly a failure dom - improved upon the first one, even if not by that much.

TServo2049
OK, instead of EOT maybe I should have said TASM2 (even though $500M OS wasn't enough of a "save" for Sony to not go into panic mode).
