Messi
Jurassic World has 80% chance of making $1 billion Worldwide by the end of Sunday( 21 june).. Very impressive! I think that will beat the worldwide box office of Avengers:Age of Ultron, Avengers (2012) and Furious 7.

But its Wednesday and Thursday openings of last week will make the weekend drop more than 50%. Enough drops under 50%, such as the impending drop of under 40% in the UK, could very well offset it's Wednesday and Thursday openings.

Jurassic World would have to average a 30% drop in the rest of its overseas territories.
RthDeadWov
weekend forcast thru friday hadn't been anywhere near 190m, its looking to past 1b WW early next week. jiangsen
Numbers listed at UPI did not include China and that is why the discrepancy( RTH confirmed this). BOG is boxofficeguru.com If UPI doesn't include China, why is F7 at $1.16 billion and not $1.56 billion?
RthDeadWov
If UPI doesn't include China, why is F7 at $1.16 billion and not $1.56 billion? Only talking about the JW figure it hadn't included mid week, not all films
Halba
total will end around 1.65-1.75bn WW. domestic: $650M International $1.05Bn. bear in mind JP1 adjusted is $746,406,300 DOM showing its the immense fan base of the original/dinosaur spielberg wow factor that captures the masses. Its been over 20 yrs since a decent dinosaur flick World's RT of 71%, is the 2nd best in the series, and audiences were craving another atleast solid entry. if done right, franchise potential is atleast equal to avengers, or superheroes in general. JW is consistently exciting & entertaining, has an appealing cast, and a pretty good & clever dino action. It is seriously lacking in semi-horror feel of the first JP. The T-Rex attack is so intense, I feel it should be rated R. JW although entertaining enough doesn't have that level of intensity leading to a so-so cinematic experience. Having said that, the sequel has the opportunity to amp up dino action now that the franchise has some serious competitions: Godzilla in 2018, Pacific Rim 2 in 2017 and MEG, probably in 2017 as well.
